Customer Supplied Parts Policy

At Hardline 4x4, we are dedicated to delivering top-tier craftsmanship, safe vehicle operation, and reliable off-road performance. While we strongly encourage customers to source components directly through our shop to take advantage of complete parts-and-labor warranty coverage, we do accept customer-supplied parts under the guidelines outlined below.

Pre-Approval & Fitment Verification

To prevent installation delays, unexpected labor costs, or improper fitment, all customer-supplied parts must be pre-approved prior to scheduling your service appointment.

  • Required Documentation: Customers must provide official part numbers, purchase receipts, or direct product links before installation day.

  • Fitment Responsibility: While our team will review the provided details to confirm general compatibility with your vehicle's setup, Hardline 4x4 is not responsible for incorrect, incomplete, or ill-fitting customer-supplied parts.

  • Missing or Incorrect Hardware: If an installation is delayed due to missing hardware, damaged components, or incorrect parts supplied by the customer, additional shop labor rates or vehicle storage fees may apply while waiting for correct components.

Product Warranty & Returns
  • No Product Warranty: Hardline 4x4 provides zero warranty coverage on customer-supplied parts. We do not guarantee the performance, durability, or longevity of components not purchased through our shop.

  • Manufacturer Claims: If a customer-supplied part fails, breaks, or arrives defective, the customer is strictly responsible for contacting the manufacturer or vendor directly to process returns, exchanges, or warranty claims.

  • The Hardline 4x4 Advantage: When parts are purchased directly through Hardline 4x4, our team handles the entire vendor warranty claim, shipping, and replacement process on your behalf.

Installation Workmanship & Reinstallation Labor

We take pride in our work and stand behind every bolt we turn. Our labor policies regarding customer-supplied parts are as follows:

  • Workmanship Guarantee: If a failure or issue occurs directly as a result of our installation labor or workmanship, Hardline 4x4 will cover 100% of the labor costs to correct the issue.

  • Part-Defect Failure: If a customer-supplied part fails due to a defect in the product itself (and not installation error), the customer is responsible for all labor costs associated with removing, replacing, or reinstalling the component.

  • Reinstallation Assistance: In the event of a product defect on a customer-supplied part, Hardline 4x4 will work with you in good faith to assist with reinstallation costs by offering a discounted shop labor rate for the repair.

Price Matching
  • Price Matching: We strive to keep our pricing as competitive as possible. Before buying online, let us know what parts you're looking at—we are always happy to see if we can match online pricing so you can enjoy full shop warranty protection!
